This nation would demand action.
Yet hundreds of cats and dogs have been sickened or killed by tainted pet food, prompting a nationwide recall of 60 million containers of cat and dog food. Recently, the FDA admitted that they do not even bother to inspect pet food factories.
We demand that Congress investigate this issue and take steps to mandate and fund federal inspections of dog and cat food manufacturing facilities. We further demand that federal criminal charges be brought against the individuals who have committed the cold blooded murder of these innocent dogs and cats.
